SUMMARY:(Postponed) Gardens by the Bay Ambassadors Programme (GAP) 2020
DESCRIPTION:GGS-GB Guides Interest badge\n\n \n\nDear Guide Guiders\,\n\nThe GGS – GB Ambassador Programme has been running for the past few years and so far about 530 Guides have become ambassadors of the award-winning garden. We are glad to renew our partnership for another 5 years. Guides who have completed the programme discovered more about the vast variety of plants and acquired valuable knowledge on the sustainability efforts of the garden. In addition\, they also gained experience by conducting garden tours as well as facilitating and delivering programmes amidst the beautiful setting. This is indeed a great learning opportunity for the Guides as they play an active role in one of Singapore’s popular tourist attractions.\n\nFrom 2020 onwards\, Guides who complete the Gardens by the Bay Ambassadors Programme will attain the Gardens by the Bay Interest Badge as well as the Naturalist Proficiency Badge (please refer to the attached document for the badge clauses).\n\nRegistration for the GGS – GB Ambassadors Programme 2020 is now opened.\n\nOrientation (with training) * compulsory\n\n\n\nDate\n:\n4 June 2020\, Thursday\n\n\nTime\n:\n \n\n2:30 pm to 5:30 pm\n\n \n\n\nReporting Time\n:\n2:15 pm\n\n\nVenue\n:\n \n\nCannonball Room (next to Supertree Food Hall)\, Gardens by the Bay\n\n \n\n\nAttire\n:\nSchool / Half-Guide uniform with comfortable walking shoes\n\n\n \n\nThings to Bring\n \n\n:\n \n\nInsect repellent\, sunscreen\, umbrella\, writing materials\, water bottle and jacket\n\n\n \n\nMaximum participants for this batch\n:\n75 Guides\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nProgramme \n\n(4 June 2020)\n\n\n\n\n \n\n2:30 pm to 2:35 pm\n \n\n:\n \n\nRegistration\n\n\n \n\n2:35 pm to 2:55 pm\n \n\n:\n \n\nIntroduction to Gardens by the Bay\, GB Ambassadors Programme and Volunteering at GB\n\n\n \n\n2:55 pm to 3:10 pm\n \n\n:\n \n\nTea Break\n\n\n \n\n3:10 pm to 5:20 pm\n \n\n:\n \n\nService-specific training (Site familiarization)\n\n\n \n\n5:20 pm to 5:30 pm\n \n\n:\n \n\nQ & A\n\n\n\n \n\nGAP Participation Requirement\n\n\n\nOption 1\n–   1x Orientation (with training) (4.6.2020)\n\n–   3x ASK Me!
