DESCRIPTION:Dear Guiders\,\n\n \n\nThis year\, the Guide Branch launched a new proficiency badge – Bakester Proficiency Badge.\n\n \n\nTo help Guides who may not have access to the baking equipment but are keen to work on this badge\, the Guide Branch will be organising two rounds of Bakester Proficiency Badge Course. The dates are:\n\n 	Round 1 – 4th April and 11th April (Sign up by 20 March\, Fri)\nPlease note that the dates in April might be postponed due to the CoVid-19 situation. We will keep registered schools updated.\n 	Round 2 – 15 August and 29 August (Sign up by 3 July\, Fri)\n\nEach School can send up to 5 girls max.\n\n \n\nWe are also looking for schools to host these two rounds. Hosting Schools would need to be able to provide the necessary baking equipment (please see attachment for more details). DESCRIPTION:Dear Guiders\,\n\nGGS\, with the support from MOE\, will be conducting workshops on basic facilitation skills for student leaders in the coming months. The workshop is now opened for registration. Guiders can register for up to six P4 & P5 Brownies (Sixers / Seconds / Brownies with potential leadership) per school.\n\nThe objectives of the course as stated by MOE are as follows:\n\n 	Identify     key     beliefs     and     demonstrate behaviours of a learning facilitator\n 	Use a variety of facilitation strategies to make learning engaging\n 	Conduct conversations and energizers in a structured and meaningful manner\n 	Adapt activities to achieve the outcomes of a Brownies/Guides session and meet the needs of the learners\n 	Design questions to conduct reflection and review of lessons learnt\n\n Approach for the workshops:\n\n 	Role-Modelling – Trainer will role-model facilitation via explicit demonstrations of the strategies throughout the entire workshop.
