DESCRIPTION:In view of the 2019-nCov virus\, this event will be decentralized to Unit level.\n\n//\n\nDear Brownie Guiders\,\n\nThe Chief Commissioner’s Award is the highest achievement a Brownie can attain in their guiding journey at the primary school level. We would like to honour outstanding and exemplary Brownies.\n\nThough we encourage you to guide deserving Brownies\, we would like to see the girls’ own effort and commitment in working towards this prestigious award.\n\nAttached is the CCA booklet and below are the important dates to note. Softcopy of the booklet could also be obtained from GGS website.\n\n\n\nS/N\nEvents / Submission\nDate\n\n\n1.\nSubmission of the following  :\n\ni) 1 Scrapbook (Section A : History of Singapore Guiding)\n\nii)  Pg. 2 & 3 of this booklet\n\niii) Certificate of Pack Holiday OR International Camp\n\niv)  1 video CD together with planning form on Pg. 7 (Section G: Brownie Can Lead). SUMMARY:(Postponed) Facilitation Workshop for Guiders
DESCRIPTION:Dear Guiders\,\n\n \n\nGGS\, with the support from MOE\, will be conducting workshops on basic facilitation skills for Guiders in the coming months. The workshop is now opened for registration.\n\n \n\nThe objectives of the course as stated by MOE are as follows:\n\n 	Identify     key     beliefs     and     demonstrate behaviours of a learning facilitator\n 	Use a variety of facilitation strategies to make learning engaging\n 	Conduct conversations and energizers in a structured and meaningful manner\n 	Adapt activities to achieve the outcomes of a Brownies/Guides session and meet the needs of the learners\n 	Design questions to conduct reflection and review of lessons learnt\n\n \n\nApproach for the workshops:\n\n 	Role-Modelling – Trainer will role-model facilitation via explicit demonstrations of the strategies throughout the entire workshop.
