DESCRIPTION:Update: in view of the 2019-nCov situation\, this event has been postponed to semester two.\n//\nTraining Circumference has partnered with GGS to conduct a workshop for Brownies who will be interested in exposing themselves to a Raffles Inspired menu with silverware cutleries for a dining experience set up and food sponsors from Commonwealth Food.\n\nThe girls will have an opportunity to learn:\n• Simple theory about fine dinning\n• Flower arrangement\n• Whipping up a simple meal\n• Setting up a tea ceremony\n• Arranging the different dinning wareWe will also be tying this programme to the Hostess and Cooks Proficiency badge as such it will fulfil some of the clauses.Programme Details:\nDates in 2020 (Choose 1 out of 2) : 8th February 2020 (Saturday) or 15th February 2020 (Saturday)\nReporting Time: 8.30 am\nTime: 9 – 12 PM\nVenue: GGS HQ\nAttire: Brownie Half Uniform\nThings to bring: Water bottle\, writing materials\, jacket if required.Here’s a rundown of the programme:\nTime Activities\n8.30 a.m. – 9.00 a.m. Registration\n9.00 a.m. – 9.15 a.m. Welcome address and safety briefing\n9.15 a.m. – 9.30 a.m. Introduction to Fine Dinning Etiquette\n9.30 a.m. – 11.00 a.m. Round about 3 stations (Flower arrangement\, Tableware arrangement \, Preparation of a meal)\n11.00 a.m.- 11.45 a.m. Prize Presentation\, Singalong session\n11.45 a.m. – 12.00 p.m. Debrief and Dismissal\n\nA cost of $2/pax will be charged as such will appreciate that the Brownies commit to the programme once they sign up for it.\n\n\n\nRegistration\nKindly sign up 4 Brownies per Pack.\nMaximum up to 30 Brownies. The programme is delivered in an enjoyable and experiential manner via scavenger hunts and field investigations supervised by professional horticulturists. Hence it is a unique learning experience for any Guide who wants to know more about nature.
