SUMMARY:Basic Training Course 1 (For Guide Guiders)
DESCRIPTION:To: All Secondary School Principals and Guiders \nBASIC TRAINING COURSE I\, 2020 \n  \nDear Sir/Mdm\, \n  \nGirl Guides Singapore (GGS) will be conducting the Basic Training Course (BTC) in Jan 2020 for all adult leaders leading the Girl Guides’ programme in School. \n  \nThe BTC is a compulsory training course for all teachers who are appointed as Guiders for the school CCA\, Girl Guides. This course will equip them with the necessary knowledge and skills to value-add and lead the Girl Guides programmes in their Units. \n  \nThe course consist of 3 modules. Please note that there will be only 1 training session this year.\n\nTitle of Session:      Project Management cum Talk on Needs of Elderly & Proposal Submission Briefing\nDate:     31 January 2020 (Friday)\nTime:     3.00 pm – 5.00pm\nVenue: SNMH Hall (Sree Narayana Mission Home\, 12 Yishun Ave 5\, Singapore 768990\, Level 2)\nAttire: Half Brownie / Guide Uniform\nThings to bring: Writing materials\n\nWe would like to encourage all Units who have previously joined us in the sessions to continue to support the project. DESCRIPTION:Update: in view of the 2019-nCov situation\, this event has been postponed to semester two.\n\n//\n\nThe badge programme offers our Guides an opportunity to not only develop their presentation and social interaction skills and will also steer the Guides towards an aptitude for self-directed learning. The programme is delivered in an enjoyable and experiential manner via scavenger hunts and field investigations supervised by professional horticulturists. Hence it is a unique learning experience for any Guide who wants to know more about nature.
