Message by President – World Thinking Day 2019
Since 1926, World Thinking Day is a day of international friendship, where 10 million Girl Guides and Girl Scouts in 150 countries come together to celebrate and fundraise for the Movement.
Each year, World Thinking Day takes on a different theme that Girl Guides and Girl Scouts around the world can learn about and take actions on. In 2020, we are focusing on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, where our girls learn the importance of fostering inclusiveness and equity, as well as celebrating our differences.
The message from Ms Chang Hwee Nee, President of the Girl Guides Singapore is attached. For schools with Brownie and Girl Guide units, the message is to be read out at school assemblies on Friday, 21 February 2020 or Monday, 24 February 2020.
