Girl Guides Singapore Annual General Meeting 2020

 

After much consideration, the National Council has decided to proceed with holding our GGS 2020 AGM virtually on Saturday, 16 May 2020, from 9am – 10.30am. This is because our GGS Constitution requires us to hold our AGM by end of May each year. As we are tabling some amendments to the GGS Constitution this year which requires a quorum, we would be most grateful if you could send in your proxy form to vote prior to the AGM itself. This new requirement is due to a new temporary legislation which has just been passed, in view of the COVID-19 situation. You are still very much encouraged to attend the AGM.

 

A letter from our Council President, as well as Notice of AGM, agenda and the proposed constitutional changes are attached. The minutes from AGM 2019 is also attached for members’ review. Details of the virtual AGM will be issued closer to the day to those who register. Please register online via https://tinyurl.com/y8e9x8ly (this will take less than 3 mins to fill up online) or via email at queries@girlguides.org.sg. Kindly complete your registration by Saturday, 9 May 2020, 5pm, and submit the proxy form back to us by Wednesday, 13 May 2020, 5pm.
